The Hydra/Minerva suite will be physically moving from where we are presently sited below our Mobilising Centre to the first floor of Training Centre. It will be a purpose built facility well equipped to deliver both Hydra and Minerva courses. The suite will comprise of four large well appointed syndicate areas, plenary area, Command Unit facsimile, central control area, office and storage areas.

The new facility will be ready for use in September 2007 at a cost of in excess of £100,000 demonstrating West Yorkshire 's commitment to Hydra/Minerva training. The new Hydra/Minerva suite will be extensively used throughout the forthcoming years and is forecast to deliver over 100 training days in 2008 alone.
