Scenario one
Fire in main building complex.
Narrative:
A timber built civic hall of laminated timber portal frame construction.
Following an evening function the premises was locked securely. Approximately 1½ hours later smoke was seen issuing from the premises.
The initial attendance arrives in the rear car park. They are met by the key holder who opens the rear door to reveal light smoke within the premises not requiring B.A. The second attendance arrives to the front of the premises approx 2 minutes later seeing fire inside the building and beginning to break through the end windows. The fire rapidly develops and will force evacuation of the building.
